The NJ Cheetahs Fastpitch Softball Program was formed by head coach David Dominici, with one team of very talented 12 year old girls. Since then, the Cheetah program has grown to include 6 New Jersey teams ranging from 12U to 23U and 3 teams in Chicago. Most of the original Cheetahs are now graduating seniors and continuing competitive play in college.
Participation in the Cheetah program helps young women to develop as athletes and, more importantly, develop as responsible, effective leaders in their community. Young athletes learn to pursue excellence, on and off the field as well as learning to realize their full potential and sports dreams.
The New Jersey Cheetahs is run by founder David Dominici with advise and council from the NJ Cheetahs Board of Trustees.
Here we keep an archive articles presented in print and on-line publications. Some of these are about the program while others are about individual players within the program.
Each winter we induct a few alumnae into our Cheetah Hall of Fame.
